hi fran, i think that the acceptance astrology enjoys
today is better than it was back in the 60's and 70's,
particularly in regards to the attitudes of people in
american mainstream religion. im not sure how it is in
say, europe, but here, i think astrology is no longer
automatically connected to satanism etc.
i think astrology is less well served as a whole,
when it is peddled right next to occult manuals and
such.
with the dawn of the internet, its not very probable
that we will ever see astrology stores in our cities
and home towns, but the increased exposure that
astrology gets on the net, does make for a more
educated public, dont you think?
professional astrologers, that this those with
paying clients may have a different take on this, and
that's understandable.
as far as the vatican goes, i see more and more
catholics discounting the vatican and thinking for
themselves. im not sure why they continue to see
themselves as catholics. but that has been the case
for as long as i can remember.
